    Bit more info.

One of the first figures I ever owned, I loved Quarrell.
SithViper- great job, especially for a first attempt.
    How did u find it?

Also, did u paint or spray paint?

And lastly- where did u get that shade of green?

I painted it all by hand.

It's Testors brand acrylic enamel paint. It's the Flat Olive Drab 1/4 oz (7.4mL) bottle. I think it came in a set of military color paints.
So much to do, so many things to distract me.

Here is my custom of what I'm calling "Ninja Snake-Eyes".
This is my idea of what Snake-Eyes would look like if he accompanied Storm Shadow on a personal mission-- outside of the Joe Team.

Didn't do anything major to make him. Just pretty much painted a 25th Ann. Storm Shadow II black. And I added a scar to his face like the HOF 12" version had.

But, he looks cool next to Storm Shadow.

Very nice! I like it a lot, I had a simular idea for an extra storm shadow I have... did not think of him as Snake Eyes (I was jut going to do a black Stormy)... but I really like that concept alot - might have to copy you

How did you paint the joints on that? I want to paint a trooper, but I'm afraid of paint rub. What paints did you use? Did you take it apart first?

    My $0.02...

Take it apart first and use spray paint, remember you have to cover all the other parts with masking tape . This is what I've always done...don't worry, It won't rub off

    custom Storm Shadow, Gi Joe

    http://escala1sexto.blogspot.com/200...ow-gi-joe.html

i wanted to take a whole new look at Storm Shadow, as my favorite Joe.Notice the correct dogtags, the working bow and arrow,he´s also got a double-blade-assembly-sword picked out of sigma 6 in their hard sheaths fitted into his shirt in custom sheath-holder.he´s got a bo staff that also looks cool.
the tatoo was hard to make,by far the hardest part..the sword was easier, but turned out great(click on the last pic and check the sculpted cobra head, straight from the "america´s elite" comic book design) , it is a sigma 6 sword, with some sculpting and painting..
the figure itself, which is not gijoe, w/out the mask, is pretty much similar to Thomas Arashikage, plus he´s got a war face on.
    awesome!

    thanks for looking
