Yeah, They definently are a squad for Major Bludd..... I mean look at the eyepatch on the skull symbol, and the description says that they are Mercenaries, inwhich that's what Major Bludd's function is.

Every year seems like there's some con figures few people are impressed with, but regardless they aren't any more easily aquired on the aftermarket because of it.

Just stating my same ol' case. Put 'em a regular $20 to $25 six pack and I'll buy them. Heck, I'd consider paying double for limited run, but not this 5 to 6+ times retail they ask for.

Anyway, the figure was not what I was expecting. Interesting use of the HOF Bludd logo. 6 of this figure per set? Gonna turn some fans off...in theory. Again, people had luke warm responses to con previews in the past, but get the set anyway and praise how cool the figures are.

well I am just not a fan of brown period. With that being I am still excited though. I already prepaid so I will hold final judgement on the coil's set. Yes 200 bucks is definately high for my 20,000 a year but then again this is my 1st con so.....

I like the fig. If the rest of the figs look this nice I will get the set... At first I thought it was supposed to be Major Bludd and hated it. But then I realized it was part of his personal army and It really fits him. I put my DTC Bludd up next to the screen and They fit well together. I kinda hope we dont get a bludd figure with the set so we can get an extra troop builder but thats probably wishful thinking. I just hate that 90's bludd mold that will probably get used.

Well, with regard to the Skull Squad Trooper, it's not what I expected, but I think this may well be a lot COOLER than what I expected.

They've used the Major Bludd logo from the Hall of Fame Cobra Manual -- which was loaded with logos, a lot of them darned impressive.

They've given the figure Major Bludd's most recognized uniform colors -- brown and black, and the helmet design looks like the Major's too. But the face under the helmet looks like a Cobra trooper!

This design works, and it works VERY well. I'm impressed!
Can't wait to see the COIL Trooper. Hope he's up next.

You know I was hoping to see an Arctic set for Major Bludd.....cause if you noticed in the Cartoon he lead a few Arctic missions.....like in the Mass Device episodes, and in the Pyramid of Darkness.....He was in heavy snow .

Ironincally.... They Decided to use the body of Avalanche for this figure.

Avalanche, that it. I was going nuts trying to figure out the body. Never liked avalanche so finally they put some good use to that body.

I agree. I think it's a nice looking figure, as I'm sure the Major Bludd figure will be as well. Still, I would not want to pay $220 for that set. I'd pay, maybe, up to $60 for it, but not more than that, certainly not $100.
