    Flint tattoo

In honor of the death (sale) of most of my collection, I've decided to get a Flint tattoo. I'm not sure where I'd like to get it.

Off limits is anywhere that can be seen while wearing a t-shirt and anywhere that I can't see it. I've already got the Cobra logo on my left arm, the Egyptian Sun God re with the great pyramid, a camel, a palm tree, the sun, a falcon and a Chinese crossword puzzle on my chest. The chest is pretty much full. My right arm is open, but I don't think there is enough room for the tattoo.

Flint will be about 8" high. Maybe I should make him 3 3/4" high. Oh, that's freakin' funny.

Any thoughts from people that have tattoos? Not that anyone without a tat doesn't count, it's just people who have tattoos always step to the front of the line in my little world.

I didn't know you were an ink collector! Where do you have your work done? I've had quite a few done by Anita at The Golden Needle.

It sounds like your belly is available. It's a little tender if it gets too low, but still nothing like an armpit, elbow, or tailbone.
This is where my signature would be if I had something to say.

It all started with "just one." My tattoo lady still laughs at me. It's rarer than rare to get just one. The camel on my chest is partially in the armpit. It didn't really hurt as much as the center of my chest.

Joy at Sterling Rose has done all of my tats. My wife has gotten a bunch done with Anita. Small world.

I think the side or back of the calf lends itself perfectly to full-body character tattoos. You can check out my and many other people's GI Joe tattoos on my site: www.tattoosandtoys.com

I definately wouldn't put a Flint on your belly...the placement is way wrong and the subject matter would honestly look a little silly there.

Yeah, Id agree with that, the flanks would be a better choice.
Or, If youre serious about this- get a backpiece started with Flint as the first.
If you do go for the flanks- be prepared, its interesting, esp under the armpit.

it always starts with 'just one'. I planned on getting two- one on either arm.
Ive got about 25% coverage now.
But, 14 years after my first, I still dont regret them.

I think the calf would probably be best - if you wear shorts. I don't, so I don't have any ink below the waist.

    hey, i got tats too.
one is the tasmanian devil as cheesy as it sounds...lol....its what i used to look like..which is why i got it, years ago i add...dont look ike it anymore after stopping rugby and getting rid of the beard, but whatever. im getting a band round my thigh, in the location alot of maori tats are, if you know the tat style i mean. you could get it on your thigh, with a yojoe or gijoe band/logo around it, so that its a complete or near complete band...?
