Firefly v1 Light camo, dark camo

    Check this auction:

Notice the first pic of figures in the red box. There are two v1 Fireflys. One light camo, the other dark. I had this variation and sold it for a nice sum. Never has been mentioned here!!

I've also seen this one, so I added it to the list. I didn't add it to the figure page yet though, because I'd like a pic. Really, I'd like the figure.

.....just because the seller says so ?? I dont follow many of the UK items but this "variant" is at best an error, probably just fading.

Pink eyes? They don't look pink to me, so I am not sure exactly what he means.

darker skin tone around the eye area. just due to different batch of paint that day...

Not a variation, just a difference based on who mixed the red into the peach to make the flesh tone that morning after a hangover.

I agree, and this appears to be the black eyed variation. I just picked one up in a lot this week, my first one that I have seen in person. It has a darker skin tone than all my brown eyed versions.

Does anyone have pics of the 1985 Shipwreck- small or large tattoo variant?

On a side note, I'm uploading pics (of figures I own) of 1983-1985 variations to a free website. Still working on it...

Been discussed, but I just realized there is an actual forum for this topic:

Some (if not all...look hard so we can be sure!) Rampage figures have a painted fleshtone application where Heavy Metal's facial dirt application would be. It's difficult to see unless you're in good lighting and looking closely. Since no one has brought it up before, I assume it's a variant, but we haven't really had anyone say they most definitely have one that does NOT have the fleshtone paint. If a few people can verify, then we definitely have a variant.

It was brought up in the other thread that there could be two batches - one from the Steeler replacement mailaway, and one from the purposely-ordering-Rampage mailaway.

BTW--When I came across your post on a TF G1 website about three or four years ago, I thought that your board name was the greatest thing I've ever read. Now. Three years later. I feel the same.
