YoJoe.com Message Board Rules Revision – 04/16/2013

We are changing the forum rules. As of today, we are implementing a common sense series of rules and guidelines. Don’t be a jerk to each other and use common sense when posting.
Keep the YoJoe! Forums a safe-for-work and family friendly environment.
To do this, we will now implement the following guidelines and policies:

Rules of Respect:
Be kind, be polite, and no bullying.
This is in both forums posts and private messaging.
People can disagree but heated arguments will be moderated and a mod will step in if things get personal. We’re all friends and fellow Joe-buddies here. Let’s act like it.

Use of Language:
Keep it PG-13. We like to keep things liberal but welcoming here. No F-bombs, or crude talk. Make YoJoe the kind of forums that you would be okay with a co-worker, employer or spouse reading.
No sexual material or overly sexy images, please. If you are linking off-site and it might be considered offensive or inappropriate, use your judgment. Flag anything as NSFW (not safe for work) but again, think twice. This is a forum about toys.

Locking Topics and Editing Posts:
If a thread starts to turn into a flame-war, a mod will post a warning to pull it back on topic or to cool off. Please don’t let this happen.

Spoiler Warnings:
Use the "spoiler" code to hide the spoiler information within the post itself.

Selling / Trading Policy:

We strongly advise conducting sales through the YoJoe! Pro system, but some members still prefer trades through the boards and we will always keep that option available.
The sale of bootleg cartoons/comics or reproduction toy parts is not allowed. You should know better.
You are permitted to "bump" for-sale/trade posts once every 3 days.

Bad Sellers/Feedback - Only those members who are directly affected by a sale are permitted to post replies in that thread. No dog piling or ganging up. If it doesn’t involve you, stay out of it, please. If things get really heated, use common sense and take it to private messages.
YoJoe! is not responsible for sales conducted between parties.

Therefore, you acknowledge that all posts made to these forums express the views and opinions of the author and not the administrators, moderators or webmaster (except for posts by these people) and hence will not be held liable.

As a user, you agree to having your registration information for this site stored in a database. While this information will not be sold or given to any third party, the webmaster, administrator and moderators cannot be held responsible for any hacking attempt that may lead to the data being compromised.

Your e-mail address is used only for confirming your registration details, optional YoJoe! Pro account and password, and for forum notifications.

You acknowledge that the all information within the database is available to the administrators for review.
