    Good Deal......But......

I was out and about today at garage sales and found all of the NF figures, C-7 to C-9, nearly complete with a box of other stuff for $50. I swiped them up and was proud of my purchase, but then as I got towards home, I noticed a peculiar smell. I started sniffing more and the figures smell lightly of cat urine.....ugh..... Anyway, does anyone know of a way to get the smell off? I stopped at a pet store, bought some Nature's Miracle (it apparently neutralizes the smell), but I'm hesitant to use it because I don't want to ruin the figures. Any other ideas how to neutralize the smell?

I would take the figs. apart and wash them in water and baking soda.I don't think the natures miracle would hurt them, but I don't know for sure.I have only used it on carpet and wood floor.I would get a figure you don't care about and test it.See what it does to the plastic. The natural enzymes in the produst eat the chemicals in the urine so I don't see why it would hurt the figs.

I also got a complete night raven (with the wind screen) for 15.00- he wanted ten but after a assembled it from all the parts he had, he wanted 15.00. it's in awesome shape - i had three already, but they are so awesome I couldn't pass up a complete night raven for 15.00. then I got a mamba for ten bucks- but it's missing the exhaust pipes and the big bomb on the bottom.
I was really excited to get home. I hadn't had a day like that in a long time-
Nice Score! I think I have the parts you need for that Mamba

Just to show there is still good stuff out there check out my latest score from the local flea market. Let’s just say I’ve gotten to know the dealer well and when he finds joes I get first dibs. He collects mostly transformers and kept a skylynx for himself but part with the rest of the bots in this lot as well. I’m happy. On to the pics. Highlights include falcons antennae and lowlights bipod. 25 figs or so and a few vehicles.

My Very First Message: Im A New Member Teeheeee

well, this is my very first message, hope im doing it right, but wanted to share my love and passion for gijoes with my fellow 80s compadres, anyway i got me a very cheap mib tomahawk , unassembled, everything sealed in bags, for a low low price, check it out, and who says you cant get deals on evil bay, while everyone else was fighting for a night raven in the same condition, i got in there and stole this one before their very eyes
    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...EAFB%3AIT&rd=1
i also had one question, maybe someone can answer it; the h.i.s.s. II and mudfighter two pack, the two mystery figures it came with. does anyone know what figures they were, and also if they were always the same figures or were there different mystery figures in each two pack package, i assume one was gijoe and the other was cobra, ok that was my first message hope everyone liked it , go cobraaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!

    Look here.

The regular figs were Track Viper & Dogfight. I don't think the mystery figures were always the same, otherwise I'm sure they would be listed in the archive. Has anybody here opened more than one? Does anybody have a single open set they can say who came out of?

    Very good question!
This is where my signature would be if I had something to say.

thanks cgc for trying to answer the question, i dont think the guys at yojoe.com know the answer since they did not list what the actual identity of the two mystery figures were, anyway ill be winning an auction on ebay with a hiss II and mudfighter two pack sealed. ill open it up and then reveal my discoveries, by the way thats what i collect, vehicles: the boxes opened but i do not assemble anything and leave everything sealed in their baggies, but i do take the vehicles out for some air and love just being in awe of an unassembled vehicle whose hands have never been layed on, anyway i will crack down on this mystery of the two mystery figures.
