any ideas to fix "diaper-crotch"? i've been using a heat gun and a hobby knife, which work fine but it's really time consuming...

also working on a custom 25th gnawgahyde and wondering about the head. i'm planning to use POC recondo's... any other suggestions?

I bought the 2010 Comic Con version 6a of Sgt. Slaughter today off of ebay. This will be an update of the 'ol Sarge for me, since the only other one of him that I have is the 'Slaughter's Marauders' version.

I want to make him more realistic, as far as his uniform, and not keep him in his USA tank top and wrestling pants. So....has anyone here that has these two 2010 Comic Con versions of him ever customize him by doing a simple head swap??? If so, which body did you use and how did it turn out, in your opinion? I have several spare headless bodies that I can choose from, but I'd be interested in seeing what everyone else has done, if anything.

So I am wanting to do a custom of Marissa Faireborn and some generic EDC soldiers. What I am looking for is ideas as to what parts would be best suited for these customs. I am hoping to use 25th Anniversary figures or any line with the newer articulation. So any advice will be appreciated. Thankss in advance!

Just so I understand....I paint primer on the figure...before I paint ...I dont have to remove the old paint first? Then I can paint over it...and customize it,

I strongly recommend treating the figure before priming. Use Pine-sol, or something similar and soak the parts for a few days and then wash thoroughly. The figures have a clear coat finish on them from the factory, the Pine-sol bath removes it so the paint sticks better.

No it won't fit. The peg on bottom of the Snowcat launcher is much bigger than the little peg on the Stinger. The upper launcher also fits together differently so the top half wont interchange either.
