\r\n Ever have an idea for a really awesome custom?
\r\nSo you purchase the body parts to make this perfect
\r\nfigure as well as purchasing the helmet, or visor etc
\r\n
\r\nOnly to find out that the helmet is too small, or the visor is too tight,
\r\nor the neck joint is too big, or the arms look too awkward etc...
\r\n
\r\nBefore you dive into your customizing venture, you can post your question
\r\non this thread & one of the members of the Yojoe forum will be able to help
\r\nyou out!! \r\n

I\'d say the O-ring Corps! figures are compatible. Their heads have ball joint necks, so they\'d work best with ball-joint Joe torsos and vice versa. They\'re basically the same style\r\n

Yes. However, if you put the helmet on the head properly, the visor doesn\'t cover the eyes and you can still see his eyebows. You can still tilt the helmet forward so that the visor covers the eyes. It looks fine from the front, but of course, it looks weird from the other angles. The helmet is a nice fit, not too tight but not loose either\r\n

On the whole, yes- and there are actually some decent Corps that can look ok with (particularly ARAH) stuff.
\nOften though, the Corps sculpts are less detailed and polished and can detract from a custom.
\nAlso- Patrick\'s right- its only really the O-ring Corps that are compatible- the others would require a fair bit of work to suit.\r\n

\r\n I\'m starting to get figures together for a custom project that I\'ve been planning for awhile, and part of that project will be the creation of at least six female figures. I have my want lists up and I\'m watching eBay, but I thought I should put the question out there: does anybody have any advice or heads-up issues I should be aware of when swapping parts around on the female Joes? I don\'t expect to be using any Baroness figures, but the rest of the ladies will probably be fair game. Has anyone been down this path before me and have words of wisdom to share?\r\n

\r\n I have a vacuum former and I am thinking of starting to produce play sets and other accessories. This is what I am capable of doing. The former heats up a sheet of plastic. I can form a sheet as large as 18 inches long and 22 inches wide. It can form as deep as 6 inches deep. The plastic will form to any mold i put in the former. It is fully automated and I can form hundreds an hour. I could make them for a reasonable price.
    \n
\nI was thinking of making building, headquarters, desert scense, ice scense. There are so many ideas. I can also produce stickers which would allow for different scense. I can also make accessories like chairs, computers, doors, bunkers, roads.
    \n
\nWhat would collectors like to see? Let me know if I didn\'t explain anything very well.\r\n

\r\n I bought the 2010 Comic Con version 6a of Sgt. Slaughter today off of ebay. This will be an update of the \'ol Sarge for me, since the only other one of him that I have is the \'Slaughter\'s Marauders\' version.
    \r\n
\r\nI want to make him more realistic, as far as his uniform, and not keep him in his USA tank top and wrestling pants. So....has anyone here that has these two 2010 Comic Con versions of him ever customize him by doing a simple head swap??? If so, which body did you use and how did it turn out, in your opinion? I have several spare headless bodies that I can choose from, but I\'d be interested in seeing what everyone else has done, if anything.\r\n

\r\n So I am wanting to do a custom of Marissa Faireborn and some generic EDC soldiers. What I am looking for is ideas as to what parts would be best suited for these customs. I am hoping to use 25th Anniversary figures or any line with the newer articulation. So any advice will be appreciated. Thankss in advance!\r\n

\r\n Anyone know if 25th BAT accessories can be used with ARAH BATs? Or if they could be easily modified to work?\r\n

\r\n dont know if this would be classed as a custom [sorry if this is in the wrong thread, please feel free to move / remove as apporpriate] but i have a small doirama with a 2-man cobra trooper resolute recon team riding 1/18 scale yamaha ttr 250 enduro bikes [bikes are already cobra blue in colour] with repro cobra labels covering the racing numbers on the bikes, and to give them the proper dirt bike rider look i gave both of the troopers goggles from 2 of my spare star wars at at commander figures.the goggles fit the resolute troopers helmets no problem and they will fit both on the helmet and over the eyes\r\n

\r\n Can someone confirm if the helmet from 25th Flash/Grandslam/Starduster/Thunderblast (the helmet with visor) http://www.yojoe.com/action/08/sgtflash2.shtml will fit tightly on the head from Whiteout v. 2 (figure from Wolf Hound). http://www.yojoe.com/action/10/whiteout2.shtml
    \n
\nI have a custom I want to make which would require Whiteout\'s head and Thunderblast\'s helmet but I would like to verify they are compatible before I purchase them. Thanks.\r\n

\r\n What green-sleeved arms would be a close match to the green of the ROC Rampage\'s torso? And which bare arms would be a good color match for the head of ROC Thunderblast?\r\n

\r\n Anyone know if the 25th style helmets will fit the newer head sculpts for the O-ring style figures.
\nThe Crimson Guards with removable helmet from the OCS set would be a great example.
    \nThanks.\r\n

dont know if this would be classed as a custom [sorry if this is in the wrong thread, please feel free to move / remove as apporpriate] but i have a small doirama with a 2-man cobra trooper resolute recon team riding 1/18 scale yamaha ttr 250 enduro bikes [bikes are already cobra blue in colour] with repro cobra labels covering the racing numbers on the bikes, and to give them the proper dirt bike rider look i gave both of the troopers goggles from 2 of my spare star wars at at commander figures.the goggles fit the resolute troopers helmets no problem and they will fit both on the helmet and over the eyes
