Costume Advice

Wanting to do up some Joe outfits for Halloween with some buddies. Thinkin Cobra soldiers. Anybody have any ideas on what would make the costumes work as far as helmets, clothing, etc etc. ?

I get tons of mail order catalogs
and this caught my eye as a good cheap helmet for a costume
also check for used knee and elbow pads at a store like Play it Again sports which sells used equipment

never made a costume before but those are two places I would start.

Hey thanks man I'll check that link. Ya I made a Biker Scout outfit last Halloween in like a week. Ordered the helmet, made the rest from old hockey eqt.Lot of vynil, spray paint, glue, velcro, etc. Looked pretty sweet actually.

I have the same military black helmet in the link above (At least the same style) I got mine at a military surplus store for $20-$30. I tell ya Military Surplus stores are the way to go, here are the two costumes I've made
