So I'm in the shop today skimming "G.I. Joe, Cobra Command" today, which looked promising because I think Dixon is a good author. The cover looks great, it's blacked out with an overhead shot of Duke or Hawk and a seabag on the ground. Part of the issue is training flashbacks, I guess. Scarlett sheds a tear when Snake-Eyes' name "unknown" is called in the formation.

And then someone walks up to Duke and says, "You're a colonel, effective immediately."

O-kayyyyyyyyy

So 5-10 books now running - sigh.

you are confusing story arcs with titles

GIJOE ARAH

Cobra
Snake Eyes

Retaliation prequel (limited series)
Infestation (limited series and is now done)
Cobra civil war was a story arc and is done
we are in the middle or done with the Cobra Command arc involving Cobra setting up its own country.

There are just 4 main titles still.

that is Hawk on the cover.
and that is not a training flashback it is a roll call of the dead from the debacle in Nazhao

Since you seem to know what's going on with the story arcs, could you please attempt to answer my question about the arcs in the other thread ("Chronological GI Joe")?

I'd like to know the issue # cutoffs for when one arc ends and another begins. Thanks.

Is it known what IDW plans to do with the trade paperbacks?

The reason I ask is I have an odd assortment of issues:
GIJoe Vol 2 # 0,1,2,3
GIJoe SE # 1, 2
Cobra Vol 3 # 1-6

I need to figure out going forward if it's worthwhile to buy more individual issues to at least complete the arcs I've started, or just start buying the TPs now.

I looked I really did but I could not find any info all i can see is that they are 104 pages.
which if you take out ads.. that is five issues per.

IMHO I would buy the back issues up to number 9 you have half of the Cobra civil war and none of the cobra command arc.

Antarctica may have the trades (digital) and could tell you better, you could always PM him but it may be a spell before you get a reply, he is kinda busy over in Africa.
