    Help me understand this auction...?

    http://cgi.ebay.com/1985-GI-Joe-Ripp...QQcmdZViewItem

Noob bidder and luckiest seller ever?
That seems ridiculous to me. Bordering on the craziest I've ever seen!
The same bidder is over $40 on multiple items from this seller, including a Dusty without bi-pod.

Is there some sort of collusion going on? Can sellers see what the max bid of a potential buyer is?

Even if it is shill bidding. Someone bid it up to $61. I would happily sell my joes if I could get the prices he is getting. Did you all look at the rest of his auctions? He is going to be a very happy guy if the winner pays.

$61 for a Ripper and $76 for a Night Raven!?
I did only what my duty demanded. I could have taken no other course without dishonor. And if it all were to be done over again, I should act in precisely the same manner.

Sellers cannot see a bidder's actual bid. This is obviously bogus. 9 out of 10 zero feedback bidders that have won auctions from me have not paid. It makes no sense. The weirdest thing about this auction is the high bid from the second place guy.

I also noticed something odd about the bid dates.see for yourselves,
    oct 12 $6.00
    oct 14 $7.99
    oct 10 $60.00
    oct 14 $61.00

How can you bid $7.99 on the 14th when on the 10th ,the high bid was already $60.00?Smells fishy to me.

That's what I was thinking. That's why I suspected some sort of foul play/collusion.

This guy is bidding like crazy on my auctions right now. I think I'm going to cancel his bids...I've been burned before by 0 feedback winners. I don't think anybody would send me $40 for a Gung Ho.

Here's another shady looking one that the 0 feedback guy bid up to 100.00

sad thing is someone bid over that. $100 for a bridgelayer

Look at the seller feedback. No way I would bid on his items. He has some nice stuff before but a cool 97 is not enough for me to place a bid!
