    Sigma 6: Weapon Descriptions

Does anybody know of a site that has the weapon descriptions for the 8 inch Sigma 6 figures? I know that YoJoe has pictures, but I am looking for information on what they call each weapon. I know that most of the wave 1 guns are switch pistols. Are any of the weapons based on real weapons?

I think YoJoe lists pretty much all the information available. You can click on the "Sigma File" link to read each figure's file card and equipment portfolio.

YoJoe is far from complete, missing some figures and even some well known variants. I'd say to check the reviews (esp "Tech Specs") over at JoeBattlelines.com

Yeah, I'd say between the two places you'll find what you want. On JBL, click on Sigma 6 Central and then toys. Then you have to choose which specific line you want to look at, and when you click on each figure you can look at the tech specs and it's pretty detailed. I think all the figures (and their gear) have been reviewed, and you'll probably find what all the weapons are called. There's actually a lot of variety in the wave 1 gear, and I think the only figure who really used the Switchfire at that point was Duke, but I could be wrong. It was after wave 1 that there was a lot more recycling. As far as being based on real weapons...probably some are very based in real life, some are kind of a nod to reality, and a lot are more sci-fi and not based in any reality. All the waves have some realistic weapons, but I think you get more of that later on with the Combat Squad line. Hope that might help a little.

I agree. JBL is a great place for info, but I don't know if they actually have any further information on the actual weapons.

Yeah, we're far behind on our Sigma 6 stuff, but no one submits anything! I do what I can, but I only have so much money to get these things. At any rate, whenever I make an update, I try to list the item on the site the way it's listed on the package or instructions. Sometimes that means I have to make up the name on my own, sometimes that means looking at previous entries to see what they were called then. All in all, though, what's on the site is generally what they're called.

So you're saying that you need pictures of all the imcomplete figures? What email address? I can submit some of the 2007 figures that aren't done yet.
