I thought Night Viper as soon as I saw the paint job

It's still Vandalo to me. I wasn't a big fan of Gristle, but Vandalo had a little better paint job. Either way, I think the weapons are looking very promising, & goofy head sculpt or not, this color scheme is a huge improvement on the original.

Heh....I like the new Avatar. I've seen two people using this now.

Gristle was an average figure,
but i think the head on the convention figure
looks pretty bad........the newer gijoe sculpts some of
them look too waxy.

THE brown on the shotgun makes his gun
look cool. I still would say that gristle is average.

Gristle was one of my faves as a young lad, and this one looks like a great remake! I'm excited, can't wait to see the other figs! Hopefully I'll be able to make this year's con the second I've attended (last year being the first). I'm also theorizing on who they're having as the SWAT team guys. My guesses are some of the following-Shockwave, Law (and Order?), Wide Scope, Long Arm, Mace, Bulletproof, and possibly someone new? Looking foward to the con figures, as always!

Mace was cool, and i believe battle corps line from 93

was his first appearance. It would be cool to see some of the

newer figures remade, But I would love to see the 1987 series

redone, figures like hardtop and crystal BALL............fast draw, etc.

they did a good job with the zanzibar figure, he looked good........

I'd also like to see them come out with a reissue of some of the vehicles

like the Hammerhead, or conquest x30...............asp........desert fox........

etc. etc...............also a new serpentor would be grand.

serpentor is one of the best.
