"Revenge of Cobra" Destro: The Best Destro ever!

...Just got this today, and seriously... This is the best Destro representation yet! The chrome head captures the deail nicely, and the green & black eyes are very nice! Not to mention the properly-colored black jumpsuit, and how the grey gloves & boots contrast nicely with the brighter red & the black & silver. Trust me, folks... This is WAY BETTER than the other version one attempts!

I'm not a huge fan of the "big red collar" look. I like the first Destro with a crome head from the first comic pack version better.

I love the Revenge Of Cobra one as well, 2nd comes the initial destro one with the not-so-red collar piece. The blue comic one was freat for the chrome head...made the initial black one cooler looking wioth the chrome head.

I would say that this is the definitive Destro. I love the colors and the gray does rock. Way better than the first version! I use the Iron Grenadier Destro as a dress uniform for when he is demonstrating a weapon or on parade but otherwise this is the Destro that I will be using, he does rock!

I like this version. He's got the Chrome head, cooler eyes, and even blacker suit, but it's not THE best version for me. Silver-head Destro is better than this DVD chrome-head Destro for a few simple reasons:

Silver D has all the weapons. His paint job is nicely and considerately done. The head matches the neck and gauntlets.

Chrome D has only one weapon, and it doesn't stay in the holster. Although it's a good color of red, they went overboard on his red paint. It's so thick that it washes out the detail. On his gauntlets, they just painted everything over the wrists red. His gray boots should be quite a bit darker, even for being a cartoon version.

I wish they would stop taking the cell-shading colors so literally. If they apply a darker gray and put him in good light, it will look like the proper color (the same is true for the colors in Roadblock's shirt and pants of this pack). Still, I think it is better in every way than the Purple CP Destro or any IG Destro.

Count me in as liking this Destro the best so far. I had to get out the 5-pk Destro to compare, but they added or changed everything in just the right ways.

As for Roadblock, I love his brighter colors, this one's my default RB now.

The cartoon was never a very good representation of the v1 Destro. They really blew that colar out of proportion to the original toy.

So if you like the v1 Destro, then the first 25th version is the way to go. But if you like the cartoon Destro, this is definately the best figure based on it.
