Silver. It has a $6.29 price tag on it. Funny thing is, I don't know if that's what I was charged because I lost the receipt. I was wondering if it had been hidden and found, hence the low price on the tag, or if those cases were shipping again, and for some reason K-Mart didn't raise the price like Tarjay and Mal-Wart. It's been a "scarce" enough figure that they don't hang alone, right?

It's been deja vu over and over. Random stores had the black Hiss and Vamp, but I'd say over half of them did not. That's my two cents with the G.I. Joe stock and futures markets. Now back to you.
This is exactly what is sitting around in my area too. What I don't understand is Hasbro seems to have this pattern on throwing the worst products out first when trying a new idea. For instance, when they issued the two packs, the first wave was the least oringial of the series, most due to repaints. And then they do the same thing with the DVD sets. While die hard fans will jump on the first series DVD sets, they don't have the apeal as say the second set where you can pick up two new characters, Dusty and Quick Kick. The same thing happened with the 2 packs; the first series was repaint heavy, the second series was a little better, and then third series was much better.

If Hasbro is looking for a new product idea to take off, why don't they really kick it off with the good stuff first and not repaint heavy peg warmers?

I think Hasbro has the TRU approach to sales - it will sell eventually, leave it on the shelves. The hydrofoil with Flint stayed on the TRU shelves for over two years before they cleaned them out. There's a TRU down in the Minneapolis area that had the Winter Ops six pack over two years after it came out. Christmas is good for cleaning house and getting rid of any product. Sometimes it takes two Christmases.
