    MOC/AFA help

OK, so I am not a MOC collector. But I have 4 MOC figures and I am trying to figure out what to do with them. I cant bring myself to open them because I would hate to destroy something another person might be looking for (one less MOC in the world I know will increase everyone elses..I know...)

I like to diplay my figures on my self. So I am thinking of doing which ever would best help me out.

Do I sell these and go out and get a mint complete one and make some $ in the trade off.
    or

Do I sell them as is?
    or
I am considering sending them to get graded just to sell them and hopefully get more $ for them, but I am not sure if it will be worth it.

Please any help on this would be great. I have the pics of the figures.

Are they worth getting graded? if so how much would that bump up (approx) their value.

I got about 85 bucks for an AFA 85 Big Ben. Ungraded you can get around 35 bucks for him. The cost of grading can vary depending on the turnaround time and case you pick, plus shipping there and back... so it might not get you more than 10 or 15 bucks out of your sale.

Just my thoughts. I'd try to sell them as is. Check completed ebay listings to see that they have been going for lately- a C9 Big Ben went for $19.99, a C9 Ambush went for $30.00, and another Ambush went for $20.99. Stuff has been selling slow and low though lately.

I agree with Kurt. Save the AFA grading for really rare/high-end stuff. If you had these items graded, you would probably only clear a few extra bucks on the deal (after paying AFA fees), plus you would have to wait to sell them.

Sell them 'as-is' and if the buyer wants them AFA graded, they can go through the process.
MapQuest really needs to start their directions on #5. I'm pretty sure I know how to get out of my neighborhood.....
