Bravo Mr Rage, this is the real good moment to be polemic with Your Joe-friends.
This is the armageddon of the toy line.

The whole G.I.JOE vehicle production (1982-2006) is based on futuristic designs or real vehicles with some sci-fi accessories.
Skystriker, U.S.S. Flagg, Defiant, Ferret where are You?
I meant the new Night Raven...lol
Kinda like the old Iron Grenadier vehicles. Futuristic....lol

Other than that, I am not that dumb.....
I had a lot of the old vehicles from the initial release when GI Joe first hit 3.5.
I'm gonna send you home in an itty bitty ditty bag~Sgt. Slaughter

Well, in a word, yeah. Nearly all of the posts in this thread dealt with discussion of the movie toys, both likes and dislikes. That is the purpose of this thread, and adds to the discussion. Yours was simply bashing everyone that didn't like the toys. It added absolutely nothing, except maybe comic relief. If it was meant in jest, that's great, but its not really easy to tell intent in print on an anonymous message board.
    Stupidity should be painful.

I wouldn't go quite that far yet. We've only seen some of the figures/vehicles that will be released, and they're certainly not all garbage. The teaser trailer certainly looked better than my (admittedly low) expectations, so who knows? There might still be some upcoming gems in the lineup.

With that said, I tend to be pessimistic about the whole situation, so that it's easier to be pleasantly surprised with the good items. And while I don't think the prospect of a bunch of spring-loaded crap bodes well, I don't think anyone should wish utter failure on this line. Simply for the fact that if the line bombs, retailers may just feel burned on Joe altogether, and might not differentiate between movie toys and mainline Joe toys.

At least the repaint of the Armadillo comes with a figure that can pass as a 25th version of Thunder. And really, the new Night Raven isn't that bad.

You do not understand, my friend Stad:
The movie items'll arrive in Europe in late spring.
Well, nobody'll buy this garbage and Hasbro'll lost a big, mega-unique opportunity here.
They have ruined G.I.JOE high standards...

It does bear a resemblance to the original Night Raven. It is also good news for any future reissue of the original Night Raven. We at least know that Hasbro still has the rights to the name "Night Raven".
