GI Joe/Transformers crossovers

With the SDCC exclusives for last year and this year combining GI Joe and Transformers, I started wondering what they should do for next year's convention. (Or dare I hope an actual retail line combining the two!)

I was thinking that they could do Optimus Prime as the Rolling Thunder with either Duke or Hawk. Or Bumblebee as a VAMP with Snake Eyes. Let's see some cool ideas everybody!

Good thread idea though. I'll have to give it some thought. But Bumblebee shouldn't be the VAMP, that would be more like Ironhide.

I could see them putting the long carbine barrel from the G1 Megatron on an appropriately deco'ed Rage or Fury, or whatever they call it. Must include a couple chrome vac plated parts like the hatches to give it a real Meg Walther P-38 feel.

And the Cobra included? No clue.

I don't know I almost picture a jeep like vehicles as being more Hound.

I think the Cobra CLAW would be a good candidate for a GI Joe/Transformers crossover. First of all, the ones issued in the 25th Anniversary line and whatnot were not on par with the original CLAW of the 80's in my opinion. Secondly, the CLAW is an ideal size for a GI Joe/Transformer crossover. I want the vehicle to be to scale with the Joes and actually transform. Plus, not cost a lot of money. My suggestion for a character would be Starscream, which could be repainted as Thundercracker, etc. And, it could come with that concept CC that was originally planned to be a zombie CC. Just as long as he comes with a regular head sculpt. Thundercracker could come with that Cobra Officer concept figure. And, I'd want these at retail or at least be sold from online retailers. I wouldn't want them as exclusives that I couldn't justify spending the money on or just couldn't get due to availability issues.

I think a MOBAT would make an excellent G2 Megs or Generations Galvatron. The original Night Raven could work as Thunderwing. How about the General as Fort Max?

See, I think the Cobra Fury/Rage has a very Galvatron look to me. Just all the angles and the big gun on top.

Maybe the RoC Steel Crusher APV as Ironhide.

In regards to the figures. Wouldn't matter much I guess. A Techno-Viper would be obvious for Galvatron, at least color wise. But that would be too easy. As long as they did some cool mix and match. So far I've really enjoyed seeing the CC and Destro(could live without Rave-Party BAT). I'll leave the figure choice to the designers, they've gotta have some fun in this
