I want a Cobra Soldier uniform

Many people on this site are entrepreneurs, I am surprised why we havent seen uniforms offered like those of the trekkie's and star wars stormtroopers.

maybe after the movie we might see some pop up. If a Cobra Uniform was available which uniform would you want to wear to a convention.

I know options are limited to 10 but image a high quality uniform for these cobra troopers. I left out specific vehicles drivers I'll save that for another poll along with a specific Joe- Cobra uniform question

fyi - I know that some party or halloween shops will be carrying at least four ADULT SIZED Officially licensed costumes, Snake Eyes, Storm Shadow, Duke and Cobra Commander with helmut!

To get the quality you need mass produced, the quantity would have to be much greater than the market can sustain at this point. (or the price would be way too high). That is why you have many costumes out there that are of passible design and quality and home-spun.

Trek uniforms and Star Wars uniforms have a much larger apeal when it comes to who can buy/afford quality, so they have substantially increased in quality over the years. Trek saw it's highest quality in the late 90's (for movie/ TNG era) and Star Wars is seeing it's highest quality this decade.

Joe is on its way there, but not htere just yet. Once hasbro licenses out the GIJoe camo used in the movie, we'll start to see a lot more joe costuming.

The Problem with Joe Costuming is How heavy and Hot Military Garb is.
I Have a Pair of Black Fatigue Pants a Commando Sweater and Hood and I gotta Tell you I think SE had Ice in his veins to wear this stuff in certain Climates during the first few years cause it's HOT as H#LL !!!!!!!!

I've seen tons of Cobra cosplay, but I have yet to see one I actually like (not including the ladies!) All the costumes are just that, costumes. They look too fake. I want to see scratch built, accurate looking, costumes made from authentic military clothing.

on some of the trek and star wars boards i have seen full size wearable crimson guard helmets for sell. and they looked pretty darn good.....will own one....some day.
