1983 Cover Girl variant?

i was going through and cataloging my figures, adding new weapons and swapping out "bad" versions for better ones, and i stumbled across something kind of neat.
i've got two different cover girl figures - one is the standard figure in the archives, the other has a green camo pattern on her clothes.
i searched both of Mark's books and the online archives, and couldn't find any other example of this. does anyone have any information on this? is it some kind of international figure or what? i know the argentina (?) airborne is close to the original, is this kind of like that?
i'll post a pic of it once my camera's batteries recharge a little so everyone can see it for themselves, but if anyone has any info about it, please let me know.

Yeah, I was going to say the same thing. Still, it looks kinda cool. It reminds me of the SMB Claymore.

there is some sun damage... as for the paint, i thought it was a custom job at first, but if it is, it's the best paint application on a custom i've ever seen. it is factory quality, doesn't wash, rub or scratch off. i'm pretty convinced it was a factory paint application.
