82 HAL question

[UNDERCOVER]

Does anybody know if the the Hal structure splits in half?. It has a seam, but its pretty tight together. I wanted to ask before i forced it. My two cannon barrels are broke off and there is two studs stuck in there. Was hoping to change the barrels and complete it.

I couldn't get ours apart... I could only get the legs and ring off...
