    Thanks Hotdog.
If I get time when I come home for Christmas this winter all the Dayton area folks might have to meet up at Wright Pat or the TRU!

anytime is cool with me, the USAF museum is the coolest place i know. I actually have met other joe collectors there- which is the last place I would have expected.

Penny: Yeah, yeah. My mom gave me the same lecture about my virginity. Gotta tell you, it was a lot more fun taking it out and playing with it.

Is the picture up for debate? I have 3 cables. One is the lightest of the three (snapped right in the middle) that came off my Lynx. I know it came with my Lynx because I have never taken it off till now, and has been in storage for at least 14 years. I have never owned a Wolverine, so it had to have come with my Lynx. I also have 2 others that I'm not sure where they go. I can't tell if they are the darkest ones or medium ones. Someone that knows needs to look at mine, lol. I have nothing to compare it to....

    That picture is relatively correct.
The Wolverine cable is the lightest of the grays while both Slaughters vehicles have a meduim gray color and the Mauler has almost a black.

For the Mauler and SM vehicles the gray matches its other parts ...antennas, "smoke stacks".

Interesting tip. The Lynx doesn't have anything to match to. Mine looks like the lightest one, but I've never had a Wolverine, and I know this came with my Lynx.

The other two darker ones look like they match my Mauler antennas and smoke launchers, but I know I lost or broke my original one. To add more to the confusion, I was pretty sure I read in a few places on here that the Equalizer and Maulers smoke launchers were the same color, it was just a matter of texture. I don't have an Equalizer, so I'm not sure where these two cables came from. Oh boy, I'm completely lost with these!

And now for my final trick I pulled out my MIB Mauler to check, and it has the lightest grey cable!!! I am beginning to think Hasbro had no rhyme or reason behind these colored cables!!!!!!!!!!

Have to disagree about the color of the Equalizer tow rope, at least in my experience. I've had several Equalizers and all of the tow ropes that came with them were identical to the light gray Wolverine ropes. One of the Equalizers was MIB so I know for a fact the rope hadn't been replaced. Perhaps Hasbro mixed and matched or maybe it was a regional thing when it came to the Equalizer's tow rope.
