No kidding. I thought that the box art of this auction looked alot better and brighter than what I have seen in the past.

So, was that Defiant sealed in the box, or just in the box? How much would the original cardboard shipping slipcase add to the value?

Oh, and $150 for shipping ain't bad. That thing is the size of a refrigerator box! Maybe not height, but depth and width for sure.

For a quick minute I thought you guys said that there was a Funskool version of the Flagg but now I see you meant the skystriker. Thats what I get for reading every other word.

The Flagg also didn't meet reserve. Maybe the sellers of the Skystriker and the Flagg can get together and compare unreasonable expectations sometime.....
MapQuest really needs to start their directions on #5. I'm pretty sure I know how to get out of my neighborhood.....

I wonder what that seller paid for the U.S.S. Flagg? The seller is either greedy or got really hosed when he bought it. Someone was willing to pay over $9,000 for that and the seller wouldn't take the money.

Here's a new angle on auctioneering

Dude's selling City Strike Snake-Eyes for $1,000,000 and "will ship anywhere in the world."

People must create ridunkulous prices like that just so they get sorted to the top of the list under "highest first" & benefit from the added visibility, then have a "make an offer" option. Hadn't really thought about that kind of marketing. I'll bet the seller MIGHT get a casino to bite if he'd spend some time fleshing out the idea more. Radical ideas don't impress me that much as they used to, since the days when people started renting ad space on their foreheads, selling stuff like the holy grilled cheese and all that.

P.S., The highest bidding that I see going on was a 12" 1967s Air Force Academy cadet for around $1,500 (1 bid), a FLAGG for around $800 (20+bids) Saw a CGC Marvel G.I. Joe #21 being offered last night for near $500. Think that's the highest I've ever seen any Joe comic. I still own my #21 from the good 'ol days...
