"City Strike" team?

Ok, you've connected a drug bust in Detroit with a Cobra outpost in the small suburb of Millville/Springfield. Cobra are planning to destroy some key areas of the surrounding manufacturing industry in a bid to not only cause upheaval and economic problems, but to slow or stop production of a new US Army fighting vehicle being built by Ford motor co.

An informant has alerted you that explosives will be planted in the sewer system underneath a major factory. He also claims that Cobra has a significant foothold inside the city of Millville/Springfield, including control of the mayor's office and numerous other city resources. This very well may be Cobra's hidden US base, or at least a well-crewed staging area for attacks on US soil.

You have 2 primary objectives:

1) Disarm the explosives that have been planted to cripple Detroit-area manufacturing. You have a team of 3-5 to navigate the sewers and dismantle any bombs, while also dispatching any guards you may encounter.

2) Destroy the Cobra stronghold in Millville/Springfield. Apprehend any senior officers, and defeat the soldiers. DO NOT harm any civilians, either directly or through friendly fire. You have 2 teams of 4-5 each, plus a sniper team of 2-3 to assault the Cobra base. Since this is inside an American city, no tanks or planes (bombing runs) can be used for the assault. Jeeps and other car-sized vehicles are allowed and suggested, up to 3.

Your total compliment between the Sewer Team, 2 Assault Teams and Sniper Team is 16.

The Plan:

Thunder in the Armadillo and Clutch & Repeater in the Desert Fox would provide distraction and take out a good amount of Cobra equipment. Stalker's team and Shockwave's team would then storm the Cobra building from different points of entry, with Lowlight picking off threats as he spots them.

Concept:
Sewer team (Supporting effort 1) inflitrates the sewer system and moves to the factory disarming as they go. Tunnel Rat is point, Tripwire and Lightfoot disarm the traps and explosives. Torpedo is rear security and can also handle explosives.

Lowlight and Recondo (Supporting effort 2) establish an overwatch position and provide precision fire for Alpha Team. (Lowlight is the shooter and Recondo is the spotter with his scope from the Forward Observer set)

Alpha team (Main effort) is a direct assault team that will raid then destroy the enemy stronghold. Alpha team is transported in the Hammer driven by Mutt until they reach the building. Once complete, Alpha team will move to a location to support Bravo Team and provide more "protesters".

Bravo team (Supporting effort 3) conducts a deception operation that will distract the Cobras away from the sewer entrance by staging a demonstration outside the Mayor's office (Psyche-Out and Bullhorn). Chuckles will slip inside and find any evidence against the Mayor. Stalker provides local security and picks up anyone suspicious.
Messages presented at the demonstration should be that the local union does not feel they are getting support from city officials with a new agenda item to dispute. Transportation will be with an unmarked van without windows so Chuckles has privacy to interrogate anyone Stalker picks up.

Why I picked who I did?
#1 - SE is busy fighting a solo battle elsewhere with just a K-bar knife or prehaps a spike-knuckled trench knife
#2 - I decided to since it was on US soil, minimum direct contact should be avoid.
#3 - I am only familar with figures or vehicles up to about '87 unless they were in the comic enough to leave an impression years later.

Who would your picks be and why? What would your strategy be?

Objective 1:
Static Line, Airtight, and Charbroil are sent for sewer cleaning. Airtight might be able to neutralize any guards with a knock-out gas which in an enclosed area is effective but should disperse rapidly upon exiting to street level. Static Line is going to neutralize the explosives, while Charbroil is in for the brute force of fire as a deterrent to the enemy or as a defensive weapon.

Being that an informant supplied information, I'm sending Mace and Lady Jay undercover into those key manufacturing areas/ Ford to investigate whatever else the informant may have shed light on in the hopes of finding more information, more Cobra operatives, and essentially lend a hand from the top side if the sewer cleaning team needs it.
