Im not Mad at all. Im just differently sane
Becuase I moved and don't know where they are(We have about 2500 mib plastic model kits so its in with a pile of boxes...somewhere), I only know where one of the good ones is. Once I go through and get my nicest one up I'll probably sell or trade of 2 of them(I hope I can find a way to display 3 of them!!!).
Looking for Brazil Estrela Falcon Piloto(tan glider pilot grunt) and Estopim(tan Grunt) complete, as well as an Argentine front(Grunt) a Venezuelan Grunt(not sure of name). Thanks
You never know what you'll stumble upon. I was back in my old college town and went to the local comic shop, remembering they used to sell Joes when I was there about ten years ago. They had remodeled and I didn't see any toys at all. I asked the guy at the desk, and he replied "What are you looking for?" I mentioned a few Joe things in generic descriptions as I could tell he didn't know the names of anything, but I did describe the Terrerdrome. He said he thought he had one and led me down some stairs to basement storage. And there it was! Missing the gun caps, a few seats, fuel nozzles, etc., but mostly all there and the whites and greys still looked great. He then said he had to go back up to run the store, but I could look around if I wanted.
I wanted! For $35, I left with the TD, a really nice 1983 Dragonfly box, and a few other things. All in all, I probably completed my TD for less than $100.TD = touchdown!
I just broke down and bought one, its about 70% complete. Fixing them up is what i enjoy most with all this stuff. I don't want to spend the money on a mint one, plus its no fun buying a perfect one. Its a challenge trying to make mine perfect. finding a piece here and there, new stickers etc. I love it!
Actually, the speaker was blown and I found an exact replacement match on Amazon for about $8 shipped. There was also a short in the cord so I had to trade for another cord. But the cord is the same as a 3-wire CB cord and can usually be found in thrift stores and such.

Finally got my Terrordrome in the mail today, holy crap is this thing big!. I have never seen one in person before, so i was surprised at what a monster this thing is. It needs quite a few pieces, but it is in good shape.
