Oh man that's way cool! Great idea with the Boss Fight blank. Now I think I'll have to get some blue ones to use as recent Compound-Z tests. Ooo, maybe a couple green ones to go with the Nano-Vipers too.

All that stone work, are they print outs? Or is some of that molded or textured? Either way it all looks great! I've been thinking about having my brother machine me a big stamp/cookie cutter with a brick pattern so I can lay out some clay or plaster to make walls and stuff. But the list of stuff I want him to make for me is already pretty long and he's not really getting to it, lol.

I just found a good quality picture of tile online and converted it into a texture in Photoshop. This allowed me to create repeating patterns of the tile at whatever scale seemed to work best. I used a laserjet printer to print them out, them glued them down onto thicker cardstock before gluing that to mounting board. (I was making it up as I went along!) The floor is actually composed of four of these sheets. A glue stick was all I used as adhesive, though I had to do some spot touchups.

The walls were largely the same - high quality brick photograph converted to a pattern. The door was another image I placed on a layer above the brick. I skipped the cardstock bit here and just glued directly to the mounting board, though I left some of the printer paper sticking off a few of the edges as tabs. Glue and tape keep it together!

That creation of Serpentor dio is pretty neat with an excellent choice of figures and accessories. The printed parts are really 3D looking.

I got a couple of pics today out back under some vines that provide a jungle like canopy. Well, at least in terms of shade. I took one of Airborne because that figure never gets much attention, whether vintage or modern. I, also, got one of one of my HISS tanks, which I got out of storage.

Wow! What a difference a few degrees makes, lol. It's like seeing the back of a magic trick.

I've always been unsure about Airborne's color scheme. I mean I like it, he looks cool. And when he's in the air it makes sense with the blue. Just wasn't sure about the colors on the ground, lol. But you know what? That totally works. Looks great man! I noticed a "canopy" when I was out back trying out my new lens(my new camera didn't come with a telephoto, but I found a guy selling his 50-200mm kit lens on eBay for cheap) taking pictures of flowers. After these archive pics are done I want to go out there and get some shots. Just got to find the right team of Joes to take the mission.

It's been about a year since I last posted in this thread. Anyway, I was out back with my dog today and took this pic of Roadblock and Tripwire looking for a place to set up the 50 cal.

    Thanks for your comment, turner.

I’ve been playing around with a different camera. It’s better for indoor photography than the one I’ve been using, but not as good for outdoor photography. One of the drawbacks is that you have to get several feet away to take a close up. I can get really close with the other camera. The good thing about it is the rechargeable battery pack. It’s super easy and fast to charge, and doesn’t fall out of the camera when you open it to take the memory card out unlike my other one with the batteries that sometimes drop out.

Anyway, here’s a pic I took today with the newer camera. I’ll just call it, Beachhead magazine change.

Masterful! The top reminds me of something out of Street Fighter II.
