    I have a repro version which another member on here made for me. Normally he would do them in bright white collar to separate them from the original but I got one very close to the original color.

    Since this is the only one I have seen before I cant give you any pointer as to how to spot the difference but I guess you would have to hold both of them in your hands to feel the difference in plastic or check for mold marks etc.

    I bought two original owner flags and was wondering if they are real. Both seem to have the little numb things like they would have if taken off the parts tree but seem a bit flexible for a genuine railing.

    I PM'ed Hotdog about this very thing a couple weeks ago and this was his reply:
    hi Jason,
    the easiest way is just to run it under a hot tap (water) for like 15 seconds. if its resin is will get extremely supple (like you could tie it in knots) if its real it will soften only slightly. don't worry, as the resin cools it will reharden (within 20 seconds).


    I would consider him an authority on the matter. Any time I have a repo question, he's the guy I turn to...
