I have one, love it. Detail is outstanding. Mine is somewhat diffrent with the decals, mine is for "Mac V". The rotor is fragile, so be careful with that. Also, there is only room for 5 passangers in the back, and there is not way to secure them in their except to close the doors. Leave the pilot attached with all the twistys, that will make your life easier. Dont know if you play or collect, but there are alot of little parts that like to pop off with regular play. For display though, sits well, very balanced. Great buy, wish I could pick up some more.
Thanks for the feedback Hama! I am just anxious to put my hands on this toy. I bet it is really big!! What's its size in comparison to a Dragonfly???
the dragonfly is smaller in scale then the huey. where the dragon is made to fit joes exact, the 21st cent toys are just a bit off that scale. the lack of detail in the dragonfly compared to the huey makes them not seem to "flush" together as well as you would hope. the colors are a bit off to.
BUT
this in no way detracts from either toy, both being outstanding in thier respective "universe". i guess you would have to say the extreme detail makes the joes lack of extreme detail stand out more so. yet still, putting them togther should bring you many hours of enjoyment. as for size, its big. i have a hard time finding a good place to display it, and find that most times i have to seperate the tail assembly from the main body for storage reasons. im not kidding about the rotor, sadly mine went bad and seperated, so if your a player like me, be carefull. other then the rotor though, it can take some decent abuse, as one day i watched the cat knock it off the mantal and it survived the impact no problem.
Too bad about your rotor! I will keep mine on display only, I just need to start thinking about where I'm gonna put it - not an easy task, I'm already out of "toy room"!
Thanks again for sharing your thoughts!

The uh-1 xds are awesome. I think there are three versions now (hog, CIA, slick). I use bbi and xd vehicles with my joes instead of the crappy hasbro ones.
I believe that the Hog version (with grenade launcher on nose and rocket launchers on the sides) was discontinued, that's the one I really wanted to get. There is a guy selling one on Mercado Livre (our E-bay) for US$130!
AWWWW Crap, dont say that, that kills me.....$130.00......aggghhhhhhh....
oh well, im into it for the fun, not the profit.....(gasp!! goes all the collectors)
I seen one in Michigan last week that someone returned to Wal-Mart in the CIA box.
I think it was the 12 Mile Roseville store.
Stupidity should be painful.
She's gone from suck to blow!
