Where is it broken? Is the post connecting the guns broke in two or what? If you can take some pictures of the parts I could almost surely tell you how to fix it. I have repaired just about every kind of broken Joe item there is at some point or another.

The most common problem with the HISS guns is the breaking of the thin tabs that keep the guns elevated. When they break, you get the droopy guns. These are nearly impossible to fix to restore the tank back to the original functionality. The best alternative method I know is to wrap some black electrical tape around the bar in between the 2 guns. Then clip it back in. The tape will fill space and give it some friction to hold in place.

James, that turret on the Crimson Hiss isn't broken, its missing a part. There is a little black piece that slides up under the guns right below the control panel and holds that in place. It also fills that gap in below the controls.

You can get that part off of any of the black Hiss tanks and it will work. For that matter you can take the entire turret off a black Hiss and it is the same as the one on the Sears model.

There is a fairly easy way to fix the "Droopy gun" issue, I too bagged an Cobra Sentry with this problem. Firstly it's always worth looking into the body of the HISS to see if the 2 broken pins are inside (Mine were) It's no biggy if they aren't, it just is more pleasing to make the following repair.

Carefully remove the gun barrels piece and lay on it's back, You'll see 2 round marks where the pins originally stuck out from. Using a pin vice drill, sink a 1mm wide hole about 4-5mm into each circle, if you have the broken pins VERY carefully drill them out too. Using 1mm Carbon Fibre rod (Used for modelmaking) insert a 10mm piece to pin the 2 sections together. You can use superglue to hold it all together but to be honest it should all be really tight if you've used a sharp drill. I promise it'll be WAY stronger than it was originally and works perfectly!
