Its really interesting to see how a movie studio works. They've invested millions hoping for another blockbuster. Avengers kills it and Battleship sunk. That's the reality I feel. But over a month away near 4th of July weekend for a "hero" movie and they instead book it for a March? Makes me wonder if there was more technical problems with the film than they'll ever release or got better audience reaction from another Paramount film also scheduled for that time period. I don't buy that it was just to be more marketable in the 3D space or overseas.
Will I still go see it? Yes. Will I still buy merchandise? Yes. Do I like it, heck no. What can Hasbro or Paramount do to make up for it? Now that the actors are free from endless promo appearances, maybe they should go see the fans up close. We're warm and fuzzy on the inside and dig celebrity appearances.
