\r\n So I have recently been asked to do some repairs on a WHALE hovercraft. Before I got started on this project I wanted to get suggestions as to what the best glue was to glue the parts that had been originally glued back on? The owner plans to sell this piece once I\'ve cleaned it up and repaired it. So any help and/or information is most welcome.

\r\n I\'m not sure it will make much of a difference. Most collectors HATE glued items. Typically people would rather buy it with broken parts and just replace those parts. Glue is pretty much the devil in toy collecting save a few exceptions.\r\n

\r\n Add to FireFox91\'s reply that nothing will hold the directional vanes on the back of the fans together. Unless you use something structural (glue brackets to the vanes). But your friend would still do better to sell it "as is".\r\n

\r\n I\'m just trying to redo the glue that was originally done from the factory. It is mainly for one of the fans that came off. The vanes are fine. Course the fan that came off the ring is cracked. One of the missile launchers came off as well. However if is best to not repair where the fan came off, I\'ll just list it as is then.\r\n

\r\n The fan shrouds (the circle units that the blades spin inside) were never glued by the factory. I don\'t remember ANY part on the WHALE that was glued together. Permanently attached parts were screwed together (top and bottom halves of the flotation skirt, and wheels).\r\n

\r\n The fan shroud has a male keyed tab on the bottom that plugs into a keyed slot to the rear of the Whale body. If your shorud doesnt have a keyed tab, it broke off.
