Odd vehicles in G.I.Joe catalogues

Don't know if anyone has ever seen these vehicles, or come across them, but there appears to be variants of the Star Brigade Robot, sculpted in green(?) as well as the Razorblade with silver attachments.

There also appears to be totally different vehicles for the Power Fighter figures.

Ive tried to attach pictures, but don't know if its going to work.

They are the preproduction versions. Most of the photos on the back of the non-figure toys are the actual preproduction versions.

It would still be cool to get those. But they are probably long gone by now!

You know Zartan, that might make for a good custom project. Do a whole set of custom vehicles based on the protoypes from catalogues and box backs, then set them up side by side with the retail version. The same could be done with the drivers to get the full effect, Lamprey and Motor-Viper for example both appear to have a noticably different shape to their helmets and in both cases the prototype looks better.
