what's the safest way to blow up a GIJOE vehicle?

For my action figure movie, I want to have a GIJOE vehicle (well it's actually a Corps vehicle) blow up. It's about the same size of the GIJOE APC. What is the safest way to make this thing explode without endangering myself or anyone else? I was thinking firecrackers but I've never used one and I don't know which ones are good or where to buy them.

personally i would use gas mixed with styrofoam(sp) to make it into a jelly, so it can be put inside the vehicle (and stay in). I would also use those little smoke fireworks (littls ball that shoots out smoke) i would use a few of them. And to set it all off a pair of M80s (or just gunpowder) it may be considered dangerous but if you take care it will be safe

Ummm....correct me if I'm wrong but isn't that Napalm?

I wouldn't use firecrackers though, I once tried to blow up one of the Street Fighter vehicles with bundles of firecrackers (up to 8 at a time) and the most that happened is it got black and the hood popped off (But that always happened, even without firecrackers )

The simplest explosion you could make would be with dry ice, but you won't get any flames with it.

Took out some details, the glass isn't very safe for kids to try.

This is where my signature would be if I had something to say.
